Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature female stars. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several important national and international projects. One of these is the British biographical movie Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, and the French historical mini-series Napoleon. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
