Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is an American actress best well-known for her character Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The role she played in Mad Men that earned Christina Hendricks a total of six Emmy Awards for her performance in the category of Best Supporting Actress. Her career, which spans over two decades has seen her appear in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. Her most well-known work is her performance in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey In Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. The voice of her character has been featured in animated films such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Earlier she began her career as a model. She kept it going for several years before she made her acting debut on TV with the anthology show Undressed in 1999. The actress had her first big part in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers. After her appearance, she received praise for her role on Firefly. She was in 2010 voted as the most sexy woman on the planet and also the most attractive woman within America by Esquire magazine.
